Satta Matka result is an Indian gambling that began in the early days of 1960. It is a form of lottery system that depends essentially on gambling of numbers. It was initially called ‘Ankada Jugar’- gambling of figures.
History of Satta Matka
The first version of the game was based on betting on the market rate of cotton, specifically the opening and closing rates, as cotton was exchanged between the New York Cotton Exchange and the Bombay Cotton Exchange.
Later, it changed to betting on the results of a set of numbers pulled out of a ‘matka’. Players could bet on one number being part of the result of a series of numbers in the final sequence.
Ratan Khatri introduced this new form of Satta Matka.
Initially withdrawn from a chit hidden among others in clay pots, the practice changed to a pack of playing cards. But the name of the pack was unchanged from matka.
The game boomed in the early 70s and 80s, with Mumbai being the main hub for bookies to set up their shops. Ordinary folk were the main players, playing it as a past-time.
But the game was banned in India after a while, and rich bookies moved on to other forms of gambling.
The game revived online and now has become more popular in the online version and websites. It has become accessible for people to play their hand from the comfort of their device.
How to play
To begin the game, players have to choose a set of 3 numbers from 0 to 9. Say, for example, the numbers chosen are 4,7,9. In order to create a diversion, the player adds up the numbers (4+7+9) and gets a double-digit number, 20. Choosing the second digit of 20, that is 0, the player completes one set of the sequence.
The same step is repeated again, with a different set of 3 initial numbers. Let’s take 2,8,5. Add them up (2+8+5), and we get 15. Take on 5, and complete the second set as well.
Now we have two sequences: 4,7,9*0 X 2,8,5*5
The players now have to guess which number is in the space of the star. It’s a winner takes all game, so guesses must be made well.
Kalyan Night Chart is a number gambler game, where players get to bet on the final sequence of numbers that will show up on the chit. Chits are pulled out from a pack of playing cards, called Matka. The name had stuck around from the early days when an earthen pot was used to hold the chits.
The game can be easily won by anyone, regardless of whether they are a beginner or a seasoned player. A lot of it is based on luck, but a good strategy and having a feel of the game before playing it can go a long way in ensuring the odds work out in your favour. Win or lose, and it’s certainly a game for everyone.
