Marked cards, when you are playing cards for competition, are useless as someone can see what the card is from the back simply by detecting a mark. A mark on playing cards can be a simple torn corner of a card or a crease in the card. Many cards are often disposed of at casinos after a certain amount of wear so that there is no danger of them getting marked.

The most popular playing cards used today at casinos are Bee type playing cards. This is one of the brands that is made by US Company. The Bee cards are distinctive for their red and white diamond shaped pattern on the back. Although they rival Bicycle when it comes to the number one most used cards used in this country.
